Brick Session

The brick sessions are a perfect way to do multiple repeats of bike to run, or swim to bike, or swim to bike to run in a group setting.  Transition racks are typically set up so you can also practice getting faster with your transitions.  These sessions are very popular among my athletes.  Everyone pushes each other a little harder and also enjoys spending time together! 

Cost: $20 Pre register up until 7 days before event. 
$25 up to 2 days before
$35 the day before and/or day of the brick.

I will be postponing any more bricks until August.  I have had quite a few races, coaching seminars and trips this spring and early summer which will not allow me to host as many Clinics and bricks this year.  I had planned on one for the ESM race in July, but realize will not have enough time to put it together due to other conflicts. 

I will try to plan the next BRICK in August and have another one in September to get ready for Fall Races!   Please check back or email me at rachwood@bellsouth.net to be put on the mailing list for notices about upcoming events.

Want to shave time off your finish!  Learning how to transition fast and practicing it will make a huge difference in your race.  Transitioning is really the 4th discipline within the sport of triathlon...yet few athletes practice or know how to do it quickly.  Come on out and learn the tricks of the trade. Athletes will be able to do a mini brick after the clinic to practice their skills.

Open Water Swim Clinic

Location:  Spanish River Park
Time: 7:00 to 9 :00 AM

Learn many of the skills you need to swim successfully in Open Water.  The clinics will go over starts, exits, drafting, navigation and sighting skills, techniques for swimming in various water conditions as well as provide practice and drills for each skill learned. 

Cost:   $35

Training Weekends in Clermont and Lake Louisa

Feb. 9th-10th, 2008 - Stay at Lake Luisa

The training weekends will include riding the hills in Clermont and surrounding Communities, running trails, doing bricks at Lake Luisa and and swimming workouts at  Lake Louisa.  These weekend will help prepare you for the Florida Great Escape Race and The Great Clermont. 

February Trip  will include a 2 night stay at the Cabins in Lake Luisa
Cost:

 $85 including lunch but no lodging. 

 $155 with lodging sharing a
cabin with 3 others.
