2008 Gold Coast Triathletes after Miami Man Race!

Thanks to all members that have been part of the Gold Coast Triathletes Club.  Six years ago I co founded this club as my  way of giving back to the triathlon community that had been so good to me.  I have tried my best and given it my all over those years.   It has been an amazing journey to watch the club grow through the years and see so many relationships develop as well as people turn into awesome triathletes.   Knowing that the club has changed lives in so many ways has always been extremely rewarding.

In 2009 I have found it is time to close this chapter in my life so I can move forward with other areas of my life that are also very important, but often neglected....namely my family, coaching and own fitness.   I would like to thank all of you that have been a member in 2008.  It was a great year for the club with many valuable experiences.  Thanks to all of you that helped out over the years. All your support helped in making this club so very special!     I  wish everyone the best with your 2009 triathlon journey!  I hope to see many of you out on the roads or at various events.

AWESOME Bike WASH and Maintenance Clinic at Racer's Edge on Wednesday August 27th!  Vince, Jamie, Perry and John once again put on a spectacular clinic  on how to wash and lube our bikes to keep them running well.  Members watched them demonstrate how to do it and then went to town washing their own bikes and lubing them properly.
